MiLAN Collective Hall of Fame - past and present -

(updated contributor lists to follow!)

Exploring health based narratives through literature, film, music, art, dance and performance; promoting creative solutions to practitioner wellbeing, self-care and compassion in healthcare and medical education.

MiLAN started as a Collective of Newcastle University staff, students and affiliated individuals that sought to champion the role of the Arts and Humanities in Medical Education and Healthcare.

We have grown as a collective since 2014 to include like-minded individuals from across the North East from the creative arts sectors, medical humanities, nursing and allied health professionals and community partners.

By embracing creativity and working cross-collaboratively we seek to support self-care, wellbeing and compassion within the NHS in a way that includes all healthcare staff and students as well as carers and service users.
